September Match Results Are in!
We had 67 shooters yesterday, for what was a beautiful Fall day on the range. Thanks to our Safety Officers and our SO Candidates who designed all the stages yesterday. They were a great mix of our props - we threw everything but the kitchen sink at you yesterday!
Some shooters commented on the "cover calls" made by the Safety Officers. If you have been shooting IDPA for any length of time you will see that is where the greatest variances occur. It is an expectation that any IDPA shooter at any match in the world shooting a match will hear exactly the same commands and have cover called the same way. Admittedly, ARPC SOs, like many, may be at time too lax...meaning that the calls made yesterday were what is EXPECTED and something our club will focus more on in the future.
Remember that the new IDPA rule book takes effect in 2 weeks, you would benefit from studying them.

We had problems again with brass being retrieved outside of our guidelines and will be taking steps to address this with the strayers from the rules. Some of this is just common courtesy to your fellow shooters, lets get the situation under control.
