Monthly Matches

We have IDPA matches on the 2nd Saturday of every month from March through November.

Register here: https://practiscore.com/clubs/arpc-idpa

ARPC Member Fee: $5
($3 Match fee for Safety Officers working the match)

Non-Members: $15

The Schedule:

  • 7:00 – 8:15 am Setup Stages (any and all help appreciated, the quicker we get done setting up the closer we are to an on time start)

  • 7:30 – 8:15 am Registration - Registration will close at 9:00 am sharp

  • 8:15 – 8:45 am Safety Officer (SO) Walk-through

  • 8:15 – 8:40 am New Shooter Meeting (Mandatory for first-time IDPA shooter)

  • 8:45 – 8:55 am Shooters Meeting

  • 9:00 – 12:30 am Shoot Pistol Match

We like to clean up the bays as soon as we are finished with the match, but if you would like to practice a particular course of fire again, ask a Safety Officer to help and feel free to do so.

ARPC-IDPA is a COLD range.
Please use the marked Safe Areas to holster your gun. You cannot load mags, speedloaders, or moon clips in Safe Areas. You can draw your pistol in only two places, the marked Safe Area and on the firing line in the presence of a Safety Officer. If you have any questions, please ask any Safety Officer (SO).

After Match Fellowship and Fun.
We have made it a tradition to get together after the match to eat lunch together. We will go somewhere after the match to eat, unwind, laugh, cry, brag, harass, and enjoy some fellowship. Location is announced at the match. Please join us.

Trigger Time Thursdays (TTT)
If you are a brand new IDPA shooter, we'd love to have you. Before you shoot in your first match, we encourage you to participate in ARPC Trigger Time Thursdays (TTT). Each week we set up one or two scenarios similar to an IDPA match. You'll get to run them numerous times without the pressure of an official match. It's designed to let you work on trying various ideas on how to shoot a stage and see the results. You'll be moving, using cover, and shooting while on the move. All skill levels are welcome. Member fee: $2. Contact Brent Todd at bandrtodd@gmail.com for more details.

First Match?
If this is your first match, you MUST be registered at least 15 minutes BEFORE the New Shooters meeting, otherwise you will be asked to watch this month and join in the fun the next time. Safety comes first at ARPC, so please plan on arriving early.

What do I need?
One gun, one holster, two mag pouches and 3 mags minimum.

What about spectators?
Anyone can come and watch a match, but please make sure that they have proper eye and ear protection (“eyes and ears”).
